An old Tweet of how Wizkid begged Banky W to support his music career in 2010 has resurfaced on social media.

Wizkid is one of Nigeria’s most successful act and has even made a name for himself internationally. The award-winning singer started from the streets of Surulere, Lagos at age 11 with the Glorious five group. The “Holla At Your Boy” singer later went on to join Banky W owned EME records in 2009 and his life changed for good.

An inspiring tweet which saw a teenage Wizkid begging Banky W to help his musical career as an up and coming artist resurfaced and is now the most talked about topic on the social media platform. The Tweet which resurfaced after almost a decade after seemed to be telling the story of the humble beginning of the singer. Wizkid wrote: “@BankyW hey Mr Banky..my name is Wizkid nd I’m up nd coming in d music industry nd I need ur help mehn..”
